OYO's to make a Tie up with state governments to promote Tourism.

Hotel room aggregator OYO said it is working with several state governments including Maharashtra and Telangana to develop a tourism ecosystem.

The company on Monday signed a memorandum of understanding (MoU) with the Uttarakhand government to develop the hospitality ecosystem and to better equip local home stays. The company said it currently runs 15 home stays registered with the Uttarakhand government and the target is to reach 50 by the end of this year.

Uttarakhand is a focal point for pilgrims on the Char Dham Yatra. OYOstandardised homestays are located in towns like Dehra dun, Nainital, Mussoo rie, Haridwar and Haldwani. OYO said the properties are equ ipped with standardi sed OYO amenities to provide a predictable experience to visitors.
