IndusInd Going Strong in a Tough Season for Banks.

Even as the shares of IndusInd Bank retreated after the private sector lender disclosed its April-June quarter numbers on Monday, the decline was a temporary reaction due to premium valuation commanded by the stock. There is a reason why the bank trades at rich valuations and may continue to do so going ahead.
The lender has maintained a strong performance, in terms of sustained loan growth as well as stable asset quality, especially in the last one year when even some of the large private sector banks along with their public sector counterparts have underperformed.
