Flipkart Switches on the TV as the Sales Show Starts.

Flipkart which expects aquarter of all televisions sold in the country to be retailed online is planning a series of measures to ensure that it snags at least a fifth of this critical market in the next 18 months.
The Bengaluru-based company is rolling out a slew of exclusive tieups with large brands, easy loans for consumers and improved after-sales service for installation of these appliances through its after-sales unit Jeeves Consumer Services.
Televisions are expected to lead the growth of the large appliances category , which also includes air conditioners, refrigerators and microwaves.
Increase in Sales-
Television -200% 
Air conditioners - 500%
Washing Machines - 300-350%
Apart from these Flipkart appears to have sold 31 million smart phones in 2015 accounting for half of the sales.
