India's largest online entertainment ticketing platform BookMyShow posted a 30% increase in its revenues to ₹78 crore for the first quarter of FY17, from ₹60 crore in the corresponding quarter last year.
Entertainment ticketing platform sold over 30 million tickets during Q1-FY17, its highest-ever quarterly ticket sales.
The online entertainment ticketing service also said that it sold 4.93 million tickets of the movie “Jungle Book“, accounting for 40% of movie admits and 45% of its revenues. Jungle Book is among the highest grossing movies in India this year.
