CalvinKare plans Premium Products for Online Sales

Co plans separate portfolio of brands for e-commerce.
CalvinKare, which introduced Rs 1 sachets packaging in shampoos with the Chik brand in the early eighties, will soon launch exclusive premium personal care products only to sell on ecommerce platforms.
It (online-only brands) has worked well within electronics, so there's no reason why it should not for personal care.Consumption has remained sluggish in single digits across consumer staples over the past six quarters and companies are looking at new avenues to push sales.
